| Born in 1980, Jonathan has lived locally for most of his life. He was educated at Bishop Stopford School, Tresham Institue and Coventry University and has extensive experience of the local amateur theatre and music performance, having spent more than 20 years involved in the scene, both during and after completing his education.
He holds a degree in Music Composition (Coventry 2004), and as a composer, his music has been workshopped by Chroma Ensemble (Birmingham) and performed by Voces Capituli (Antwerp, Belgium), and Kettering Choral Society amongst others. He has been active as a piano and singing teacher locally since 2006, as well as undertaking comissions for music for many varying situations, and more recently has begun giving live performances of piano music in online streams.
He is classically trained, and has particular interests in contemporary music and community performance. He is relishing the chance to work with such an outstanding group of enthusiastic singers, and hopes to both continue their excellent work with the local community in Kettering and beyond, as well as posing some gentle yet exciting challenges to the ladies of the choir.
